When we first announced Nagi by SoHo Sushi, we envisioned a space that would bring a fresh, elevated energy to Downtown Tampa’s dining scene. Today, we’re thrilled to share those visions are rapidly turning into reality.

If you’ve passed by the site recently, you might have noticed things are moving fast—much faster than we even anticipated. Thanks to an incredible team of contractors and designers, construction is tracking well ahead of schedule. The framing is up, the elements of our sleek restaurant and intimate lounge areas are taking shape, and the energy on-site is palpable.

Watching the ideas transform into a physical space has only fueled our anticipation to open the doors.

While the hammers are swinging, our culinary team is deep in creative mode. The menu currently in development is a bold evolution of what you know and love, blending precise Japanese technique with innovative modern flavors. We are crafting an experience that spans from the exceptional, signature sushi rolls you love to curated small plates perfect for sharing.

And because a great night out requires the perfect pairing, our lounge will feature a sophisticated beverage program packed with premium Japanese whiskey, sakes, handcrafted cocktails, and a carefully selected wine list designed to complement every bite.

Nagi is designed to be a dual experience: a vibrant restaurant paired with a distinct lounge atmosphere where you can unwind, socialize, and linger long after dinner.
